About This Atlanta Charity Event
Coins for Clowns is an opportunity for children to get creative and organize their own fundraiser, collecting coins to benefit Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta.
The money raised through Coins for Clowns will help fund kid-oriented initiatives, including the Big Apple Circus Clown Care Unit. These professionally trained clown “doctors” prescribe giggles and grins to young patients at Children’s.
Here are just a few ways your child, grandchild or friends’ children can participate in Coins for Clowns:
- Classroom coin drive
- Read-a-thons
- Jean day at school
- Lemonade stand
- Bake sale
- Car wash
- Baby-sitting
Coins for Clowns participant tools include:
- Coins for Clowns flier
- A tip sheet for making your own unique collection container
- A Coins for Clowns collection summary sheet
- A Coins for Clowns sticker, which you will receive to wear during your fundraising event
Generous Generation T-shirts also are available for purchase, with proceeds benefiting kid-oriented initiatives at Children's.
