Occupations Scholarship
Children's goal is to provide assistance for your pathway of learning. If you are currently a graduating high school senior, or a post secondary student, and a current Georgia HOSA member and desire a career in healthcare, the OCCUPATIONS application process is simple. The application deadline is the beginning of February.
Submit a one page essay discussing the following:
- Why you want to be a/an _____________ (healthcare profession of choice) in 500 words or less, double spaced, 10 inch font
- A verified minimum 2.8 GPA (official high school record/school transcripts)
- Two letters of recommendation on letterhead, sealed by the author
- Current resume (including any volunteer experience)
Semi-finalists may also be evaluated on a personal interview conducted through Children's Healthcare. To download an application or to learn more about becoming a Georgia HOSA member, please visit www.georgiahosa.org.
